Welcome to Buzz Movers (buzzmove.co.za). By engaging our services, you acknowledge acceptance of these Terms of Service. Please read carefully.
1. Contractual Agreement
This contract defines the full agreement between Buzz Movers and the client, unless otherwise explicitly altered and signed by both parties in writing.
2. Pricing and Quotations
- The quoted price is based on the inventory list you provide or the visual inspection we conduct.
- The final price charged will depend on the actual volume of items loaded onto our truck.
3. Additional Charges
- Extra charges apply for:
- Difficult access to premises.
- Long carrying distances (over 25 metres).
- Shuttle services required due to road or access conditions.
4. Inventory and Estimates
- You must provide a detailed inventory. Without a precise inventory, the quote will be an estimate.
- Actual charges will reflect the true volume or load.
5. Specialised Services (Packing, Assembly, Disassembly)
- Services like dismantling, reassembling, packing/unpacking must be specifically requested in advance.
- Such specialised services are not automatically insured.
6. Liability and Risk Management
- Buzz Movers is not responsible for unforeseen delays or circumstances such as weather, strikes, road conditions, or traffic.
- Risks not covered by client-purchased insurance remain entirely with the client.
- Shared load services might experience delays. We provide estimated timelines but accept no liability for delays beyond our control.
7. Insurance
- Clients are encouraged to purchase all-risk insurance separately.
- Buzz Movers does not automatically insure goods against damage or loss.
8. Damage and Loss Claims
- Any claims must be clearly indicated upon delivery and reported within 48 hours post-delivery.
- Documented evidence must support claims.
- Liability is strictly limited to declared values.
9. Client Obligations and Responsibilities
- You must be present or have a representative present during loading and unloading.
- Ensure all your belongings are accounted for prior to vehicle departure.
- Immediately inspect your goods upon delivery.
10. Payments
- Full payment must be cleared before unloading goods.
- Accepted payment methods: bank transfers, cleared cheques, EFTs.
- Late payment may result in additional charges and delayed delivery/storage fees.
11. Storage Policy
- Storage longer than two months will incur additional costs.
- Full settlement required before goods release from storage.
- Goods not claimed within stipulated periods may attract additional charges.
12. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations received:
- 31 days or more before scheduled date: 75% refund.
- 7-30 days: 50% refund.
- Under 7 days: No refund.
13. Acceptance
- By accepting our quotation and payment, you indicate full acceptance of these Terms of Service.
